For a leading South African premium spirits brand: Tradeway, along with industry partners, conceived and built a free-standing, multi-week experiential destination in Johannesburg. A fully custom space designed as a physical expression of the brand’s identity, with distinct programming for every day of the week and a curated partnership with a respected South African cultural figure. Rather than a conventional launch event, the space became a genuine cultural moment; it generated over 30 pieces of earned media coverage, drove influencer reach to nearly three times its original target, and returned close to R3 in earned media value for every R1 invested in the build. The result showed that a well-designed physical world, built around real cultural insights rather than a borrowed template earns attention that paid media cannot buy.
